Wharmby Kozdon Architects have been in practice for 28 years creating buildings, interiors and landscapes with two partners and two assistant architects.


WKA have successfully completed a broad range of new build and conversion projects. These have included Leisure and Recreation, Zoological Buildings and Structures, City Farms, Schools, Offices, Housing for Private Clients and Housing Associations, Doctor’s Surgeries, Industrial Buildings, Shops and Landscape Design.


The practice has received two Civic Trust Awards and has had projects shortlisted for an RIBA prize and the international Design Sense award. Numerous projects have been featured in the architectural press, design magazines and in national press publication. Projects have been featured three times on the cover of the Architects Journal.


Philip Wharmby and Michael Kozdon both completed their training at the Architectural Association in London in 1974, working together since 1984 when the practice started.
